19 Apr Mat Threadgill Talks Digital on Where’s My Parachute Podcast
Agency Founder Mat Threadgill was asked to be a guest on the radio show ‘Where’s My Parachute’. In this interview, Mat Threadgill shares some digital marketing insights, and answers questions about Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and geo-targeting advertising with Google AdWords. What kind of strategies and approaches are contemporary digital marketing agencies using, to get results for the brands they work with? Mat Threadgill shares some insights that small and medium sized businesses will find helpful, when expanding into social media, and professional SEO services.
At the age of 29 years, Mat started his first independent advertising agency, after working with some of the leading agencies in Dallas Texas. Mat shares how he progressed through the early transitional years of entrepreneurship, including managing the transition from a corporate manager to agency owner. He talks about the internal dialogue of an entrepreneur, including how to learn and improve through both successes and failures as an entrepreneur.
“Always be open to a new idea, but find the balance that allows you to stay focused on your core product or services”. – Mat Threadgill
How does Mat Threadgill create results for leading consumer brands and services? Mat discusses the value of working with an experienced agency, who can ‘put together the puzzle’ of the right mix of tools (web development, communication channels, and SEO) for the unique culture, growth and revenue goals of the client. He also shares about the growing problem of inexperienced providers (without corporate experience and training in marketing management), and provides some warning signs that clients should consider, when choosing digital communication provider.
“There are always ways we can track the revenue and results from digital marketing strategies. From website analytics to advertising metrics, the data is there.” – Mat Threadgill
We would like to thank the team at “Where’s My Parachute?” for the invitation and the opportunity to share.
